Ayurveda, the mother of all medicines
The aim of Ayurveda is to optimise the physical and phsychological wellbeing of a person, the society and environment and to prevent damage in the future. Ayurveda classifies a person according to ones constitution and energies and the treatment will be specified according to this. An Ayurvedic treatment is based on special medicated oils, applied and/or taken orally, medicines based on herbs and minerals. Diet and healing movements (yoga) are also used in conjunction with the above. Ayurvedic massage differs from all other massages as the oils are medicated and special for different persons and purposes. A very special form of massage is when the masseur uses the feet to gain deeper and longer strokes, for better control. A full treatment according to tradition is 42 days, but already after 5-6 days you experience a difference. We recommened 2-3 weeks for a good lasting result
